Bezels are still an issue for some smartphone users out there, many of which just aren’t a fan of the designs that some manufacturers choose. Well, if you hate bezels as much as the person next to you, then Sharp has a phone just for you: the Aquos Crystal, which does just about everything it can to get rid of bezels for you. It really is quite a stunning device to look at, which has moved every aspect of the phone’s parts, including the branding and front-facing camera, to the bottom of the handset, to leave the rest of the handset’s top-half to be all display. As should be expected, considering the manufacturer, the device will be landing in Japan soon, beginning on August 29. However, the initial report also says that the handset is coming to the United States, too, as found by AndroidCentral: The device is launching with SoftBank Mobile, which owns Sprint, and has led many to the conclusion that the handset is coming to Sprint soon. Especially with the fact that the Now Network has their own event coming up soon, which they called “take the edge off.” So, if you’re under Sprint’s wing, the Aquos Crystal could be an option soon. The Crystal features a 5-inch 720p HD display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM, and it’ll be running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. It also features Harmon/Kardon audio. It’s not a high-end device, but if it’s priced accordingly, the mid-range handset could indeed make a bit of a splash when it lands, hopefully sometime soon. Do you think you’d pick this up?
