The whole process in detail:

“The product is like a new one and has no defect if you look at it from a 12-inch distance. ”The item can be packed in a Generic box that does not have a Brand Name or Logo. For example – You can pack a Nokia mobile in any box of your choice. The product must have gone through a detailed inspection process and quality checks. The refurbished products should carry a 6-month warranty.

Criteria to sell refurbished Items –

You have to provide an invoice that mentions that the product is refurbished in India.

You can get this invoice from

  1. From The Brand whose product you are dealing with.

  2. An Authorized Renewer or One who refurbished can also provide this invoice.

  3. From sellers who are selling new phones against exchange on E-commerce sites.

  4. Reliance Digital/ Chroma

  5. From A local provider with a valid invoice from whom you are purchasing.

Always remember, “The Invoice must be not more than 6 months old.” and “You must have a quality check team at your workshop. 3 or more people.”

Documents –

Provide two invoices from a verified Supplier. Warranty Details – Provide a warranty card along with the product.

The process to enroll:

Raise a Case to seller support from Your Seller central account. Mention details about the renewed program.

Ans: A product was tested to work better. However, if there is a cosmetic defect in it, the customer will return it. Also, customers return a product if it does not work as well as expected. In such a situation, the seller tries to resell the product by acquitting it, which we said is the renewed product.

GTIN – Global Trade Item Number

It is encoded within the barcode. There are three types of GTIN.

  1. ISBN – International Standard Books Number. On the back of the book, in the right-hand corner, there is an ISBN is used to list books.

  2. EAN – European Article Number It is widely used in Indian Market. There are many companies in the market that provide this GTIN. Even D-Mart does not accept products without barcodes. 

How can you list products without a product ID?

 Ans: You will have to take GTIN Exemption.

At the time of product listing, you have to select GTIN from the list of product IDs. If you have UPC or EAN number, then you can easily list your products.
